The Cultures of Rhythm 2007 South American Tour Dates Announced
US Jazz Ambassadors Tour Dates announced for 2007
Jazz Capital Events’ premier soul-jazz band, The Cultures of Rhythm, will be touring throughout South America and the Caribbean this winter as US Dept. of State Jazz Ambassadors. This tour marks the fifth time a version of this band has been chosen to represent the United States as Cultural Ambassadors. This time around, the official title of the program is “American Music Abroad“, and the tour has been organized jointly by Jazz @ Lincoln Center and the US Dept. of State. The group, featuring f, Bujo Kevin Jones, Adam Scone, and Aaron Thurston will be performing in cities in Uruguay, Ecuador, Suriname, Colombia, and Dominican Republic.
