FEATURED EVENT: Jazz Quartet Invokes Frank Sinatra For Birthday Party
Vocalist Ron Sunshine And His Band Featured At Intimate Rainbow Room Celebration
Jazz Capital Events was pleased to present Ron Sunshine and his New York quartet featuring Matt Ray and Ian Hendrickson-Smith for an intimate crowd of 50 guests this month. The occasion was a young man’s 65th birthday party, and the swing jazz band was picked out by his daughter. Ron was asked to perform favorites from the American Songbook as made famous by artists like Frank Sinatra. Needless to say, Ron was perfect for the occasion.
Ron and his band strolled through favorites like All Of Me, Like Someone In Love, All or Nothing At All, and many more. What was booked as a 4-hour party went an extra hour as guests danced and ate and drank past midnight. The classic music and the party were swinging.
