US Jazz Ambassadors Tour Dates announced for 2007

Jazz Capital Events’ premier soul-jazz band, The Cultures of Rhythm, will be touring throughout South America and the Caribbean this winter as US Dept. of State Jazz Ambassadors. This tour marks the fifth time a version of this band has been chosen to represent the United States as Cultural Ambassadors.

In a program envisioned by U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs Pat Harrison, The Aaron Thurston Trio featuring Hammond Organist Adam Scone, Trumpeter Kevin Louis, and Drummer Aaron Thurston was a featured performer on a bill that included mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves, Oscar-winning director Chuck Workman, and Master of Ceremonies actor/director Rick Schroder.
